Care & Service

Every work is made to be worn. What follows is what the house does, and what it will not do.

01 / Wearing

Marks are expected

Satin surfaces record handling. The house treats this as the condition of a worn object rather than as damage, and will not refinish a surface simply because it has aged.

Remove works before swimming, sleeping and any physical work.

02 / Cleaning

Warm water and a soft cloth

Nothing else is required. Do not use ultrasonic cleaners, silver dips or commercial jewellery solutions on any work containing fossilised material, titanium or a set stone.

03 / Storage

Separately, and dry

Works are supplied in a case sized to them. Store each piece individually — gold is soft enough to be marked by another work in the same box.

04 / Service

Where a work goes depends on what it needs

Minor repairs and cosmetic restoration are carried out in London. Larger repairs and full servicing return to the workshop in Italy that made the piece, so the work is done by the hands that finished it. Nothing is sent to a third party.

The studio will say which route applies, and what it will take, before anything is undertaken.

05 / Resizing

Where the form allows it

Some works can be resized without altering their proportion. Others cannot, because the break, the section or the stone position is fixed by the drawing. The studio will say which applies before any work is undertaken.
